Golfing is a popular sport in
Greece and now you can come and enjoy a game of golf in Messinia, at the Costa Navarino resort near Pylos.
Tourism is vital for the Greek economy, with 18 million visitors
generating 15 percent of GDP. But the country can expect a 9 percent drop in revenue this year after the economic crisis triggered
a series of strikes. Traditionally tourists have been attracted by the beautiful islands and rich history. But now Greece
is taking a swing at moving up the value chain with golf.
